Project Description

"The SANER Project was started by Audacious Inquiry to address the needs of Hospitals, Public Health, and EMS to communicate with each other during this crisis about urgent needs: e.g., beds, ventilators, PPE, and to help track the impacts of the disease at the community level. We are looking for students interested in contributing tools and utilities that can work with data feeds produced by hospital information systems (EHR, ICU, ED, and other solutions) and to map, track, analyze and evaluate data. We are working with major EHR and Health IT Vendors to develop specifications and software that can be useful in this time of crisis. The project needs additional support to handle a number of short term projects that can make the data more useful, from turning raw data into control charts, mapping, or looking for outliers existing data.
