Project Description

This project relies on “Establishing an affordable, secured research cloud solution for large-scale computing against COVID-19 healthcare data” core project. We propose to seek out an active partnership with the Standford-based "Folding@HOME" group and the IBM OpenPandemics effort to deploy computational protein analysis software at scale on the MOC via the ChRIS platform. Specifically, we propose to deploy/port the existing COVID-19 part of Folding@HOME client into a ChRIS plugin and execute it at a large scale on the MOC.
